I am proud to call the Nipissing First Nation my original home community. For almost twenty years, though, I have been living in Toronto, where I once worked, and now reside in retirement with my family.
My grounding in the visual arts began in 1975 when I earned a BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Following that, I was employed as a high school art teacher in various Ontario cities and towns.
For the past several years, I have been working as an artist in the mediums of mixed media (collage), drawing, oil and acrylic painting, and watercolour. I have exhibited at various shows and galleries in and near Toronto. I am currently a member of the Propeller Gallery, which is located on Abell Street in the downtown core.
